Two different treatments
Standard Radiesse vs Hyperdilute Radiesse
Most clinic pages blend these together. They are not the same treatment, and knowing which one you are being quoted for is the difference between an informed decision and a surprise.
Standard Radiesse
In its standard form, Radiesse is a CaHA injectable used for volume and contour, and it carries FDA-cleared or approved facial indications including moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, with Radiesse (+) indicated for moderate-to-severe jawline contour loss. It adds structure where it is placed while also stimulating collagen.
Hyperdilute Radiesse
When Radiesse is diluted, its behavior changes. Experienced aesthetic providers may use a more diluted preparation as part of a broad collagen-stimulating skin-quality strategy across an area rather than to build contour at a point. This is the service Revive markets on this page, and it is a provider-directed technique.
Regulatory accuracy
What Is Actually FDA Approved
Radiesse has FDA-cleared or approved indications in its standard forms, including moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, with Radiesse (+) indicated for moderate-to-severe jawline contour loss. The specifically approved 1:2 hyperdiluted protocol is for décolleté wrinkles.
Hyperdilute use in the face or neck is a provider-directed technique and may be off-label. That is a normal part of aesthetic medicine when a qualified provider judges it appropriate, and it is not the same thing as an FDA-labeled indication. Revive publishes the distinction rather than blurring it.
If a provider tells you hyperdilute Radiesse is “FDA-approved for the face and neck,” that is not accurate. Ask which indication they are referring to.
Candidacy
What a Hyperdilute Radiesse Plan Addresses
Skin quality and firmness goals
A broad collagen-stimulating strategy across an area, rather than volume placed at a single point.
Crepey or lax-appearing skin
Skin that looks thin or finely creased on movement, assessed alongside overall laxity.
Lower face and jawline
Skin-quality plans along the lower face and jawline when that is clinically appropriate.
Neck
Neck skin-quality plans when appropriate, as a provider-directed technique.
Please note
Treatment volume and dilution are individualized according to anatomy, treatment area, skin quality, and provider assessment. If diffuse facial volume loss is the dominant concern, your provider may recommend Sculptra instead, and the side-by-side comparison lays out why.
Transparent pricing

Please note
Flexible payment plans are available. Aerolase, when it is part of a staged plan, is priced separately and is never bundled into a biostimulator quote.
Before and after treatment
Preparing for Radiesse and What Recovery Looks Like
Before your appointment
Tell Revive about your medications, supplements, medical history, previous injectable treatments and any recent illness or dental work before treatment. Full preparation guidance is published in how to prepare for your Radiesse appointment.
After your treatment
Swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising can occur and are usually temporary. Recovery varies by area, dilution and individual response, so downtime is discussed as a range rather than promised as none. A detailed walkthrough is published in what to expect before, during and after a Radiesse treatment.
When to call us
Contact Revive promptly for a firm nodule, severe or worsening pain, skin colour change or blanching, vision change, signs of infection, or any symptom that concerns you. Do not wait for your next scheduled visit.
Risks and candidacy
Radiesse Side Effects and Safety
- Common, usually temporary: injection-site swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness and small bumps.
- Nodules and lumps can occur, and should be assessed by your provider rather than self-treated.
- Infection: any injection breaks the skin barrier and carries infection risk.
- Vascular compromise: rare but serious. Injecting into or compressing a blood vessel can restrict blood flow and cause tissue or, very rarely, vision injury.
- Radiesse is not reversible the way a hyaluronic acid filler is, which is one reason product selection and injector experience matter.
- Radiesse has product-specific indications, contraindications, warnings and precautions. Candidacy is determined at medical assessment.
Please note
Appropriate medical assessment and informed consent are required before treatment. This page is patient education, not medical advice, and it does not establish candidacy.
Your provider
Provider-Directed Technique, Not a Product Menu
A hyperdilute treatment is defined by judgment: which area, what dilution, how much volume, how many sessions, and whether an injectable is the right tool at all. Angelica Alcaraz, BSN, RN selects those parameters from your anatomy, skin quality, degree of laxity, previous aesthetic treatments and goals.
Revive Beauty Bar is a medical aesthetics practice operating under physician-directed medical oversight.
