Why PRF Is Already Included
PRF microneedling is the heart of the Revive Signature. At Revive, PRF is part of the Signature SkinPen experience. PRF is prepared from a small sample of the patient’s own blood and incorporated into the individualized regenerative treatment protocol.
PRF is platelet-rich fibrin, not platelet-rich plasma: both are prepared from your own blood, but they are processed differently and behave differently, and Revive’s Signature protocol uses PRF.
We did not want our Signature treatment to begin as a stripped-down version of what we believe makes the experience complete.

The procedure may happen in our treatment room; your recovery continues at home. At Revive, post-procedure care receives the same attention as the treatment itself. After the provider-directed initial no-wash period, gently cleanse according to Revive instructions and the current Epicutis product directions supplied with the product.

Before you come in
- Arrive with clean skin when possible.
- Do not arrive with active sunburn or visibly irritated skin.
- Notify Revive of active skin infections, open lesions, or a history of cold sores.
- Disclose current medications and recent aesthetic treatments.
- Disclose pregnancy or nursing.
- Disclose current isotretinoin use.
- Tell the provider about bleeding disorders or relevant medication changes.
- Do not independently discontinue prescribed medications without prescriber guidance.

Recovery timeline
Microneedling Aftercare
Day of treatment
Temporary redness, warmth, tightness or sensitivity may occur. Follow the provider-directed no-wash period. For Revive's current PRF and advanced recovery protocol, do not wash the treated area for approximately 6 to 8 hours unless instructed differently. Avoid unnecessary touching.
After the initial 6 to 8 hours
Follow the Revive Epicutis sequence: Oil Cleanser, then Lipid Serum, then Hyvia® Crème. Use the Recovery Mask according to individualized instructions.
Days 1 to 3
Temporary redness, dryness, tightness or rough sandpaper-like texture may occur. Continue the gentle provider-directed recovery routine. Do not pick, scrub or exfoliate peeling or dry skin.
Days 4 to 7
Skin generally begins returning toward its usual appearance. Continue gentle hydration and gradually resume other products only according to provider instructions.
