Why this page exists

This Site Used to Call It an Acne Laser

That was underselling it, and it meant anyone who was not searching for acne treatment never found the platform at all. Aerolase is positioned around pigmentation, redness, texture, brightness, collagen-related concerns and skin laxity in addition to the inflammatory and vascular conditions it is better known for.

If your skin is not breaking out and you simply want it to look better — more even, brighter, smoother, less tired — this is the page you were looking for. It is the same device, run for a different goal.

What it addresses

Six Things a Rejuvenation Series Works On

These improve on different timelines. Naming which one or two bother you most is what turns “better skin” into a plan you can actually measure.

  1. 01

    Uneven tone

Diffuse irregularity in colour across the face — the accumulation of sun exposure, past inflammation and time. Usually the first thing to shift across a series and often what makes skin read as tired.

  2. 02

    Texture

Roughness, enlarged-looking pores and general surface irregularity. Non-ablative treatment works on this progressively rather than by removing the surface, which is the trade-off that keeps downtime low.

  3. 03

    Brightness

The quality most patients describe as looking dull or flat. Improvement here tends to be gradual and cumulative across a series rather than dramatic after one visit.

  4. 04

    Fine lines

Fine surface lines, addressed through a collagen-related response rather than by resurfacing. Deeper, static folds are a volume and structure question and are not what this treatment is for.

  5. 05

    Early laxity

Early loss of firmness. The word doing the work is early — established laxity is a different conversation, and we will have it honestly rather than sell a series that cannot deliver it.

  6. 06

    Redness and pigment irregularity

The same platform reaches both, which is why a rejuvenation plan can address complexion irregularity of more than one kind rather than needing a separate course for each.

Choosing the right tool

Non-Ablative Is a Trade-Off, Not a Free Lunch

Ablative resurfacing removes tissue. That is why it can produce a step change in texture and depth, and it is also why it carries real downtime. Non-ablative treatment leaves the surface intact and works progressively, which is why social downtime is typically low — and why the change accumulates across a series rather than arriving at once.

Neither is better. They answer different questions. If you want a significant change in texture and you can take the recovery, Er:YAG resurfacing is the honest recommendation, and Revive offers it. If you want skin quality to improve steadily without time off, a rejuvenation series is the right shape.

NeoSkin Rejuvenation — $1,800

Five treatments at $360 per session. Rejuvenation is the most cumulative use of this platform, so a series is the structure that makes sense here more than anywhere else.

Single full-face session$500 per session$500
Signature Series of 3$450 per session$1,350
Signature Series of 5Most chosen$360 per session$1,800

The same ladder applies to acne, pigment, redness, rejuvenation and selected facial scar plans. Larger body scars and extensive post-surgical scars are quoted from a consultation rather than forced into the facial package price.

Staging with biostimulators

Skin Quality and Structure Are Different Problems

Biostimulators may address structural collagen support, while Aerolase may be staged separately to address skin quality, pigment, redness, texture and selected signs of aging.

What we will not tell you is that Aerolase makes Sculptra or Radiesse work better. That claim would need direct evidence for that exact protocol and it does not exist. The two are staged separately because they address different components of aging, not because one multiplies the other.

For established patients already in a biostimulator plan, a staged Aerolase add-on runs $350–$400 when the timing is appropriate.

Fitzpatrick I–VI

Designed for Every Skin Type

Aerolase Neo Elite uses a 1064 nm wavelength and 650-microsecond pulse technology designed for treatment across Fitzpatrick I–VI. Treatment settings and candidacy remain individualized according to your concern, skin response, medical history and pigment risk.

Rejuvenation options narrow quickly as skin tone deepens, because many resurfacing and light-based approaches carry higher pigment risk. A 1064 nm non-ablative series is one of the routes that stays open across the full Fitzpatrick range — with settings and candidacy still assessed individually.

What to expect

How a Rejuvenation Plan Runs

  1. 01

Define what you actually want changed

"Better skin" covers tone, texture, brightness, fine lines, redness and pigment, and those move at different rates. Naming the one or two that bother you most is what makes a series measurable rather than vague.

  2. 02

Check the treatment matches the goal

Non-ablative rejuvenation is progressive. If your goal genuinely needs a step change in texture or depth, ablative Er:YAG resurfacing is the honest answer even though it carries real downtime. If your goal is structural volume, that is a biostimulator or filler conversation.

  3. 03

    Your sessions

Sessions are short, with no gel or cooling head against the skin — most patients describe brief warm pulses across the face. Neck and décolletage can be included in a plan where appropriate.

  4. 04

    Between sessions

Aerolase is generally positioned as low social downtime rather than no downtime. Temporary redness, warmth or other treatment-specific reactions can occur, and what you experience is individual.

  5. 05

    Cumulative change

Rejuvenation is the most cumulative use of this platform. The change is meant to read as skin quality improving over months, not as having had something done — which is the point for most people booking it.

Common questions

Skin Rejuvenation FAQ

Is this the same as laser resurfacing?
No, and the difference matters. Ablative resurfacing — Er:YAG, for example — removes tissue to resurface the skin. It addresses texture and depth more aggressively and it carries real downtime. Aerolase is non-ablative: it works through selective photothermal targeting and a progressive response, with typically low social downtime. If you want a step change in texture, resurfacing is the honest recommendation. If you want skin quality to improve without taking time off, this is.
Rejuvenation is the most cumulative use of this platform, so it is also the one where judging after a single session tells you least. The NeoSkin Rejuvenation program is built around a Signature Series of 5. Tone and brightness generally shift before texture and fine lines do.
A single full-face session is $500, the Signature Series of 3 is $1,350, and NeoSkin Rejuvenation — the Signature Series of 5 — is $1,800, which works out to $360 per session. Maintenance after a completed series is $400–$450 at the established-patient rate.
Not established laxity, no. The platform is positioned around early laxity alongside tone, texture and brightness. If what is bothering you is descent and volume loss rather than skin quality, a laser series is the wrong tool and we will say so — biostimulators, filler or a combination address structure, and that is a different consultation.
They can be staged together when appropriate, because they address different things. Biostimulators may address structural collagen support, while Aerolase may be staged separately to address skin quality, pigment, redness, texture and selected signs of aging. We do not claim Aerolase makes a biostimulator work better — that would need direct evidence for that exact protocol.
SkinPen creates controlled micro-injuries to drive a collagen and remodeling response, which is why it is a mainstay for textural change and acne scarring. Aerolase targets colour — pigment, vessels, inflammation. They are complementary rather than competing, and plenty of skin-quality plans use both in sequence.
Those areas can be included in a plan where appropriate. They often show sun-related tone and texture change earlier than the face and are frequently what patients notice first in photographs. Bring it up at consultation so the plan and pricing account for it.
Aerolase is generally positioned as low social downtime, not zero downtime. Temporary redness or warmth can occur and what you experience is individual. We will set expectations for your plan rather than promising none.
